Adoptive parents provide information about themselves via a “Dear Birth Mother” letter or a scrapbook with pictures and text about themselves. The birth mother who meets your criteria receives your information and chooses an adoptive family who suits her needs.
Likewise, a birth mother is required to submit information about herself and the birth father. Her history is outlined and presented to an adoptive family interested in placement.
A match is made once there is a commitment by both the adopting family to adopt and the birth mother to place her baby.

Open Adoption involves a direct interaction between a birth mother and adoptive parent(s). The level of communication you decide on is dependent on the needs and comfort levels of all parties. Our staff will gladly assist you throughout all of your interactions with the birth parent(s).
Closed Adoption occurs when the birth mother chooses not to take part in the placing of the child. We will take responsibility to find a family and make all of the arrangements. The level of interaction between birth parent(s) and adoptive parents is limited. It may include letters or pictures, but can involve little to no communication.
